Alter Zoll is located by the beautiful Rhine River. As it used to be a part of Bonn’s old city defenses and was built around 1644, this place has a long history. Today, it’s on the grounds of the University of Bonn, giving it a unique blend of history and education.

WHAT IS ALTER ZOLL FAMOUS FOR AMONG RESIDENTS?

Now, let’s talk about the highlight of Alter Zoll: the awesome beergarden. This place is super popular, especially among students.

When summertime arrives, and the sun is shining, it becomes the go-to spot for people to relax and have a good time. The atmosphere is lively and fun, and the drinks are refreshing. It’s the perfect place to hang out with friends after a long day of classes.

Of course, because it’s so popular, the beergarden can get pretty crowded. But don’t worry, right next to it, there’s a big lawn where people gather.

This grassy area becomes an extension of the beergarden, and you’ll see groups of friends sitting on blankets, playing games, and enjoying themselves. It’s such a lovely sight to see people laughing, talking, and enjoying the sunshine in this beautiful setting.
